David created Caffeine Bullet as he was been frustrated that mid-race he had to take gels just to get the caffeine. They were often too weak for the strong hit he needed and on further research, he discovered that chewing caffeine meant that it was absorbed in the mouth, for a far faster kick. 

To test the idea, David launched a Kickstarter to see whether others agreed and to cover the development costs, and despite being offline for the last week of the campaign (racing in Mayanmar) they reached their target, and Caffeine Bullet was born. 

Designed for endurance sports, Caffeine Bullet is also a convenient alternative to costly coffees and calorific energy drinks and in its first two years, it's already won Women's Running Editor's Choice Award for Race Nutrition and established itself as one of the biggest selling endurance products on Amazon in the UK and US.
